Bolle Nova Vermillion Modulator	5 out of 5
Have just had a week skiing in Italy where we had extremes of weather from -37c windchill and visability so bad you couldn't tell whether you were moving or sliding backwards to splitting the rocks sunny. I used the Bolle goggles for all but the most extreme of sunny spells and thanks to the Modulator lense which changes from a Cat 1 to a Cat 3 depending on conditions, visability was always supurb. Snow definition in low light was excellent and glare in the afternoon sun was minimal. The reason I'm writing a review though is because half way through the holiday I wiped out at lunatic speed, face planted and got hit in the eye by my ski tip which had come off my boots but being a touring ski and having no brakes were tied by cord to my legs. The impact of the ski tip Knocked me out momentarily and caused an afternoon of seeing double and throwing up. However the goggles, despite popping the lense and cracking the frame, had done their job and and I could continue skiing with no permanent harm done. I'd only just put the gogs on for that run - without them things would have been a lot different. Overall a great pair of goggles that thanks to the light reacting Modulator lense cope admirably with most conditions and also provide a huge ammount of previously unconsidered protection. 5/5 Reviewed 23 March 2010 by rob, beauly
