Have found this to be great in the rain. The rain just beads off it and is dry in seconds. Have to try it out with torrential rain yet but I feel sure it will do exactly what it says on the tin. love it and it was £50 cheaper than everywhere else:) I have recommended this company to all my facebook friends too :)

Jacket is just what I ordered. It will be great for everyday use, walking and hopefully can be used for skiing with fleece underneath.

Love this jacket. It does all it promises. It is lightweight, easily packs down to a small size for travelling. The length is on both body and sleeves is on the long side (even on the standard length) which is perfect for me at 5ft 11. I like the drawcord waist which gives the option of a snugger fit to prevent heat loss and also gives a more flattering shape in general. The hood is a decent size and packs well. I prefer the button down front line - more glamorous than the velcro fastening normally found on waterproof jackets. I used this jacket on a recent wet and windy trip to Rottnest Island, off the Western Australian coast, and it kept out the wind and rain perfectly while also permitting body breathability in 25 degree temps. I have now bought the interactive fleece so that the Berghaus combination can form a year round, worldwide, part of my wardrobe.

Bought this as a present for my wife,well dont yet seem to know much about womens jackets after 26 years married to her so she swapped it for "something more suitable " at your shop. This is the second Glissade jacket I have owned.I wanted this style of jacket because of the stye & fit and because it uses poppers on the front of the jacket and not velcro. I hate velcro at the front of a jacket because it catches on everything! As far as I am aware this is one of the few jackets available today that hasn't fully converted to velcro.
The price from Craigdon Mountain sports was incredably competitive! I saw the same jacket in Navy in Tiso's for £160. The price I paid (including P&P) was only £110, an excellent saving! Delivery was very prompt and the web site and communication from Craigdon was excellent.
I would definately use them again!
