The Yukon AS is the update for 2008 of the Super Makalu Ergometric AntiShock. This is the lightest full-size pole in the range that features the SAS shock absorber

Great poles at a great price	4 out of 5
First impressions of these was that they are a really well built and sturdy but light pole. Its the first time I've used poles in a pair and could instantly feel the benefits. The lined, webbing hand strap holds your hand securely in place, although the adjustment was a little stiff, I presume because of the 'newness' . The shape of the foam handles took a bit of getting used to, but once I was I found them incredibly comfortable - miles better than the rubber ones I've used in the past. Similarly the locking mechanism seemed better than other twist lock poles I've had. My only niggle is that the collapsed length is a touch, and only a touch, on the long side. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and with the service from Craigdon Mountain Sports. Reviewed 09 May 2011 by Craig, Wigan
