Once again the Ski Club of Great Britain has teamed up with leading snowsports travel operator, Natives, to offer a fantastic weekend for anyone connected to the UK Snowsports Industry. What better way to end one of the best home seasons in decades than treating yourself to a final fling in the stunning Swiss resort of Zermatt? Taking place from the 15th to the 18th July, the summer weekender will offer informal ski and snowboard racing on the Klein Matterhorn glacier. With competitions in Giant Slalom and Dual Slalom, not to mention the Matterhorn Mystery Challenge – there’s sure to be something for everyone! And once you’ve had enough of the slopes, there will be plenty more summer activities to get stuck into, such as a high ropes course, football and volleyball.
Once you’ve exhausted yourself with all this, Zermatt’s renowned après ski will provide revellers with some of the best hospitality. Nelly’s bar is playing host to the welcome dinner on the first night, while a fancy dress prize giving on the final night is bound to raise a few eyebrows!
Costing only £149 including B&B accommodation, lift pass and entry to all events and parties, the Summer Weekender is not only great value but also a perfect opportunity to catch up with other members of the industry and network.
