If you’re anything like us, you’ll be sitting in your office with that Friday feeling – just watching the clock tick ‘til it’s the weekend again and time to hit the slopes! So, in the latest of our “Just for fun” Friday blogs, we bring you news of a rather different sledging competition that faces an uncertain future…this should cheer you up a bit!
In the German town of Oberwiesenthal, the local council is up in arms about a proposed addition to their annual sledging festivities. Jochen Noeske, organiser of the town’s first topless sledging competition is facing stiff (pardon the pun) opposition from locals who don’t want the town’s reputation brought into disrepute.
Defending the concept however, he said “I want our tournament to be a mega festival of boobs. I hope they don’t ban us, but if they do we’ll take the competition over the border to the Czech Republic where they are not so stuffy”.
Who knows where this one’s going to go, but we’ll try and keep you posted!
