Next Wednesday (19th May) sees the launch of the 2010 Keswick Mountain Festival. Firmly established as one of the biggest and best outdoor events in the calendar, this year’s festival is packed full of outdoor activities, competitions and has a great line-up of speakers to keep everyone from families to diehard enthusiasts happy. Whether you bike, hike, climb or paddle – there’s something for everyone: from forest trails to triathlons and dry-tooling comps. Prices vary depending on the event, but even if you don’t want to take part, head along and get involved in everything else the festival has to offer – such as gear testing from some of the biggest brands like Salomon and Montane – not to mention Keswick itself, something of a hub for the outdoors!
